With only 30 days left until the bike hits the road in Shreveport, the pace of preparations is quickening. My partner and I had some very disturbing news this morning that said our 7-man airbrushing team that was set to customize Nola would no longer be part of the equation. After some quick scrambling, we have put together a new crew, this time with a caricaturist, all willing, able, and trustworthy. Yes! After a team meeting on Sunday to view sketches for the design we will follow, I will be leaving for Shreveport for a one-week pre-drive of our route to let folks know we are coming. This will be a preview of coming attractions of sorts, as I’m sure I will have many who want to tell me what they been through at the hands of Miss Katrina. Please check in with this site and Flickr as I will be posting daily blogs and photos from my trip between September 23rd and 30th. For those of you around the country who have yet to return home to New Orleans, please contact me at tobringushome@gmail.com. This is about you, and I look forward to hearing from you and sharing your stories with the country in my book. Your book! The attention you deserve is coming.
